Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet (s) or turkey fillet
- 2 red pepper (s)
- 250 g mushrooms
- 200 ml cream
- 200 g sour cream
- 3 tablespoon Metaxa
- salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- some sugar
- 200 g cheese, rated
- 1 onion (s)
- Paprika powder
- garlic
- Spice mixture, Greek
- olive oil

- Cut the meat into fine strips and marinate in a little oil and Greek spices - you can also do it the day before. Chop the onion and fry in a little oil, wash the peppers and cut into cubes, clean the mushrooms and also cut them into cubes. Add the vegetables to the onion, simmer on a low flame until all the liquid has evaporated, season with salt and pepper.
- In another pan, sear the meat without any additional fat, then add the vegetable mixture. Add sour cream, cream, tomato paste and Metaxa, simmer for 1 minute and season to taste.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 °. Put the meat mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Baked for about 20 minutes until the cheese turns golden brown.
- This goes well with rice and tzatziki.
