Ingredients

  • 100 g yeast
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk, warm
  • some sugar
  • 1 kg flour
  • 300 g butter
  • 100 g suar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 250 g raisins
  • 250 g nuts, roasted, coarsely chopped
  • 250 g suar, suar cubes
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some sugar
  • 1 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Mix the yeast with the warm milk and a little sugar, let it rise. Mix with the flour, butter, sugar, the egg yolks, vanilla sugar and salt. Knead in the raisins and nuts.
  2. Finally, knead in the sugar cube by hand.
  3. Brush with beaten egg (mixed with a pinch of salt and a little sugar), let rise again. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
  4. Makes 3 pieces on 2 trays.
