Ingredients

  • 4 schnitzel (veal, turkey or pork)
  • Fat, for frying
  • a bit salt
  • 4 slices ham
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • 4 slices cheese (Allgäu Emmentaler)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ broth
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoon white wine

Instructions

  1. Wash, dab and pat the schnitzel.
  2. Heat the fat in a high pan and fry the meat in it. Then season with lightly salt.
  3. Place on a fire-proof plate or casserole dish and top each with a slice of ham, tomato and Emmentaler. Baked for 5-10 minutes.
  4. For the sauce, pour the broth into the pan and let the roast set boil. Season to taste with tomato paste and refine with cream and white wine.
  5. Serve the sauce separately with the meat.
