Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 3 egg (s)
  • 3 cup / s sugar
  • 4 cup flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 500 ml buttermilk

For covering:

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup almond (s), ground
  • 1 cup almond (s), sliced
  • 200 ml cream

Instructions

  1. For the base, mix eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and buttermilk into a batter and pour onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Mix the desiccated coconut, sugar and the sliced and ground almonds in a bowl. Sprinkle the cake base with it.
  3. The baking time is approx. 40 minutes at 175 ° C. Spread the cream over the sheet cake 10 minutes before the end of the baking time and then continue baking.
  4. The cake is juicy and stays absolutely fresh for several days.
