Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillet (s), (saithe)
  • 10 small potato (s), oblong
  • 0.5 stick ½ / l leek
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • Oil, for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the fish fillet into bite-sized pieces (approx. 5 cm).
  2. Boil the potatoes, peel them and quarter them lengthways.
  3. Halve the leek and cut into fine strips, wash and drain.
  4. Beat the eggs in a deep plate.
  5. Also put the breadcrumbs in a deep plate.
  6. Let the oil get hot in a pan and roll the fish first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs and fry in the hot oil until brown, remove and do the same with the potatoes.
  7. When the potatoes are browned, add the leek and mix well, remove the pan from the heat, mix in the fish. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  8. A delicious garlic dip tastes good with it.
