  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can pizza tomatoes, 400 g
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, darker
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion until translucent. garlic
  2. to squeeze. Add tomatoes and oregano, bring to the boil.
  3. Simmer the sauce without a lid over a mild to medium heat for approx. 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and sugar to taste.
