Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 100 ml water, cold or 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon honey

For covering:

  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon - sugar
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 1 pinch vanilla

Instructions

  1. Knead the ingredients for shortcrust pastry together and shape into a dough ball. Wrap in foil and let rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. Peel, core and quarter / eighth the apples.
  3. Roll out the tart dough and place in a 26 mm mold. Cover with the apple pieces and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (top-bottom heat) for 25 minutes.
  4. Mix the sour cream with the eggs, honey and vanilla. Take the tart out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, pour the topping on top and bake for another 25 minutes.

  6. Serve lukewarm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
