- 500 g apples, sour
- 300 g flour, possibly 350
- 1 egg (s)
- 20 g butter
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 125 ml milk
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- Butter, for browning
- Cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling

- Peel, core and roughly dice the apples. Make a dough that is not too firm from the flour, egg, melted butter, baking powder, apples and milk. Then cut dumplings out of the dough with 2 wet tablespoons and place in boiling salted water and let stand for 15 minutes, do not boil!
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon, pour brown butter over them and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
