Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tuber / s fennel
  • 2 onion (s), red
  • 4 apples
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary, fresh
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 1 cup vinegar (sherry)
  • Pepper, black, freshly ground

Apple, Fennel and Onion Chutney

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely dice the fennel, apples and onions. Then sauté in olive oil. Simmer for about 20 minutes until everything is soft. Then add the rest of the ingredients and continue to simmer. Let everything cook, stirring constantly, until it has thickened. This also takes about 20 minutes.
  2. Fill into glasses, screw on immediately and let cool down.
