Apple Muffin with Nuts

Apples, walnuts, spices crushed on a grater are added to the cake dough.

Ingredients

  • Butter (softened) – 250 g
  • Apples (peeled) – 300 g
  • Sugar – 200 g (to taste)
  • Walnuts (chopped) – 100 g
  • Large eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 300 g
  • Ground cinnamon – 1.5 teaspoon.
  • Ground ginger – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Baking powder – 0.75 teaspoon
  • Soda – 0.25 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease a 23 cm round cake pan (with a hole in the middle). Peel and coarsely grate the apples.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar, gradually add the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Continuing to beat at low speed, add flour. Add apples and nuts, stir with a spatula. Put the dough in the prepared form and place in the preheated oven, bake the apple cake with nuts for 55-65 minutes, until tender.
  5. Take the finished cake out of the oven, hold it with a knife between the walls of the product and the sides of the form. Leave the apple cakes with nuts at room temperature for 15 minutes, then take the cake out of the mold, let it cool completely at room temperature.
