Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 300 grams flour
  • 2 tablespoon water

For the filling:

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella
  • 200 g nuts, round
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 125 ml milk
  • 4 apples or small firm pears

Instructions

  1. For the dough, beat the butter with powdered sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in the flour so that an initially crumbly mass is formed.
  2. Then stir in the water and combine everything by hand. You should now have a smooth, soft dough.
  3. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. In the meantime, melt the chocolate in a water bath for the filling. Stir in the Nutella.
  5. Mix the ground nuts with cocoa and powdered sugar, add the chocolate mixture and milk and mix in. Add a little more cocoa or sugar to taste.
  6. Peel the apples or pears, remove the core and dice.
  7. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
  8. Now roll out the well-chilled dough into a rectangle about 5 mm thick.
  9. Brush with the nougat mixture, leaving out about 2 cm at one end of the longer side. Now sprinkle the apple or pear cubes on the nougat mixture.
  10. Now roll up from the longer side - from the non-recessed side - and press the edge of the dough down well.
  11. Cover a baking sheet with baking paper and place the rolling pin on it.
  12. Make several cuts on the top with a sharp knife.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes until golden.
