For the fruit topping, peel the apples and cut into wedges or pit and halve the plums. The two types of fruit can also be combined very well with each other, as they go well together in terms of taste.
For the crumble, mix the flour, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, add the melted butter and use a fork or your fingers to make crumbles. If necessary, put the bowl in the refrigerator for a short time, then the crumble will be a little harder and more crumbly again.
For the batter, beat the softened butter with the mixer until creamy, add sugar and salt and stir for 2 minutes until the mixture binds and becomes lighter. Then stir in the eggs one at a time for 1 minute. Mix flour with baking powder and briefly stir in two portions. Spread the dough in a greased springform pan and cover with the prepared fruit close together like scales. Spread the sprinkles over the fruit.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180-185 ° C for 60 minutes.
