Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 100 g mararine
  • 200 g flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 1 egg (s)

For the filling:

  • 1 packet custard
  • 40 g suar
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk
  • 250 g quark

For covering:

  • 2 large apples, e.g. Pink Lady
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix together the margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla sugar. Mix in the flour and baking powder and quickly knead with your hands to form a smooth dough.
  2. Divide the shortcrust pastry into 6 equal portions and press evenly into 6 small greased tartlet molds sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
  3. Then bake in the oven heated to 170 ° C for approx. 15-20 on the middle rack.
  4. Then turn it out and let it cool down.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the vanilla pudding according to the instructions. Fold the quark under the warm pudding. Possibly add a little more sugar to taste. Spread the pudding quark mixture on the cooled shortcrust pastry bases. About half of it is needed.
  6. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces. Then sauté in a pan and sprinkle with sugar and let it caramelize.
  7. Spread the steamed apples on the tartlets.
