Ingredients

  • 100 g apricot (s), dried, unsulphurized
  • 120 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ orange peel, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ lemon peel, grated
  • 50 g almond (s), freshly round
  • 2 g iner root, finely rated

Instructions

  1. Soak the apricots in the orange juice overnight (approx. 8-12 hours).
  2. Remove the apricots from the orange juice and puree them finely in the blender. Add the remaining ingredients and puree everything to a creamy mass. If the mixture is too firm, simply add 1-2 teaspoons of the orange juice that was used for soaking. I usually don`t need more than this 1-2 teaspoon.
  3. The ginger doesn`t taste too much, it harmonizes very well with the other flavors. Those who like ginger can also increase the amount a little.
  4. Tip:
  5. It is best to always prepare and enjoy the spread fresh. Filled in a clean jar, the spread will keep in the refrigerator for approx. 4 days.
