Asparagus Salad with Garlic

Recipe for making a light crispy salad of asparagus, balsamic vinegar, garlic, black pepper and olive oil.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • A bunch of fresh asparagus – 1 Piece
  • Garlic – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Ground black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 3 Glasses
  • Ice Cubes – To taste

Directions

  1. Peel the asparagus. Trim the edges and cut into pieces. Chop the garlic. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook for 3 minutes.
  2. Combine cold water and ice cubes in a large bowl, then remove the asparagus from the pan and immerse in cold ice water. Drain and place asparagus on a plate.
  3. Make a dressing by mixing balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper.
