Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 110 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 25 g chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

For the dough:

  • 110 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon milk, possibly a little more
  • 30 g cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g suar, brown
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

For the cast:

  • 300 g chocolate

Instructions

  1. First prepare the filling. Melt the chocolate. Put the butter, cocoa, milk and sugar in a bowl and stir everything well. At the end the melted chocolate can be stirred in. Put the bowl in the refrigerator.
  2. Take a second bowl for the batter. Mix the butter with the sugar. Add the flour, cocoa and baking powder and stir again. Now add the honey and milk to the bowl and mix everything together. At the beginning there will not be a real bond, but keep stirring anyway. If necessary, add a little more milk, but not too much, the dough should be quite dry.
  3. Roll out the dough between 2 baking papers and cut into 6 x 12 cm rectangles. 2 rectangles are required for 1 Tim Tam! Bake the rectangles at 170 ° C for about 8 minutes.
  4. Now we need the filling again to cover one of the rectangles with it. Then make the 2nd rectangle over it and a small cake sandwich. Press the rectangles together a little and spread the squeezed out filling with a knife.
  5. For the topping, melt the chocolate over a hot water bath. Dip the bottom of the Tim Tams into the melted chocolate and pour the remaining chocolate over the Tim Tams.
  6. The Tim Tams are a sweet snack that is often offered with coffee.
