Ingredients

  • 1 kg apple
  • 4 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 6 drops butter-vanilla flavor
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ clove powder
  • 2 tablespoon citric acid
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon gingerbread spice
  • 3 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 750 ml water
  • 625 g preservin suar, 2: 1 (3: 1 = 300)

Instructions

  1. Crush the marzipan.
  2. Cut the apples into wedges (with the skin) and add the 3/4 L water to the pot and simmer for 15 minutes so that the apples become soft, then press everything through a sieve and add 1 L with water or fruit juice (apple juice) Fill up and bring to the boil again in the saucepan with all the spices, then turn down immediately and add the marzipan cut into cubes and stir well, making sure that the marzipan dissolves well.
  3. Add the preserving sugar and bring to the boil until foamy, but only let it boil for 1 minute!
  4. While still hot, pour into jars immediately, close immediately with twist-off lids and turn upside down for 20 minutes, then turn over.
