Ingredients

  • 16 stalks asparagus the same length and thickness
  • 4 slices ham, cooked, large
  • 5 tablespoon coffee cream
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon cheese, grated
  • 2 tomato (s)
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Fat, for the shape
  • possibly nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Steam the peeled asparagus in salted water until firm to the bite.
  2. Halve the ham slices. Wrap 2 asparagus spears with a slice of ham, place the rolls next to each other in a greased baking dish.
  3. Whisk the coffee cream and egg well, season with salt, pepper and possibly nutmeg. Mix in 1 tablespoon grated cheese and pour over the asparagus.
  4. Cut the tomatoes into slices and top with the asparagus. Spread the rest of the cheese on top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approx. 15-20 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley on top.
  7. We also like rice.
