Ingredients

  • 500 ml pig blood
  • 250 ml milk
  • 125 ml meat stock
  • 150 g back bacon, smoked
  • 300 g onion (s), diced
  • 1 potato (s), cooked and grated
  • 2 rolls, stale
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper
  • 4 teaspoons marjoram, dried
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning, instant, or dissolved stock cube
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

  1. Dice the bacon and leave it in a pan, fry the onions in it. Cut the rolls into cubes and let them turn golden brown in the frying fat. Now mix everything with the remaining ingredients, season and bake in a baking dish in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for approx. 40 - 45 minutes. On top of that, it should have a nice crust.
  2. The side dishes are traditionally sauerkraut and boiled potatoes.
