Banana Bread with Cinnamon and Nuts

Recipe for making banana bread with cinnamon, nutmeg and walnuts.

Ingredients

  • Banana – 3 Pieces
  • Milk – 1
  • cinnamon – 1 Teaspoon
  • Nutmeg – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Butter – 8 Art. spoons
  • Granulated Sugar – 1 Glass
  • Eggs – 2 Pieces
  • Flour – 2 Glasses
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Soda – 1 Teaspoon
  • salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Butter – 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Walnuts – 1/3 Cup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the peeled bananas on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. The bananas should be soft and the skin should be dark brown. Reduce the oven temperature to 160 degrees and grease a baking dish with butter
  2. Beat sugar and butter with a mixer in a large bowl on medium speed. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the bananas, cinnamon and nutmeg with a fork. Add milk, stir. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Add banana mixture to oil mixture and stir until smooth. Add dry ingredients and stir
  5. Put the dough in the prepared dish and bake for 40-45 minutes. Prepare the topping 10 minutes before being ready.
  6. Combine butter, flour, cinnamon and dark brown sugar in a small bowl. Add a small pinch of salt and ground walnuts and stir
  7. After 40 minutes, remove the bread from the oven and sprinkle with the cooked nuts. Bake in the oven for another 20-25 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
  8. Cut the bread into slices, drizzle with honey and serve with ice cream or ghee
