Banana Bread with Coconut Flakes

Banana bread can be made in many ways, such as adding coconut or almond milk instead of regular milk. I liked the option how to make banana bread with coconut flakes.

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 5-6 Piece
  • Flour – 4 Glasses
  • Soda – 2 Teaspoons
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1.5 Teaspoons
  • Sugar – 2 Glasses
  • Vegetable oil – 1 Glass
  • Eggs – 5 Pieces
  • Milk – 5 Art. spoons
  • Vanilla extract – 1
  • Lemon juice – 1 Tbsp. the spoon
  • Coconut flakes – 1 Cup

Directions

  1. Prepare 2 baking dishes, brush with butter and set aside.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
  3. Peel the bananas and mash them in puree.
  4. Mix banana puree with vegetable oil, sugar.
  5. Whisk in the chicken eggs and stir the mixture well again.
  6. Pour in milk, vanilla and lemon juice.
  7. Combine dry ingredients with banana mixture.
  8. Add the coconut flakes to the dough and stir.
  9. Divide the dough between two baking tins.
  10. Sprinkle coconut on each loaf.
  11. Bake banana bread in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave in the mold for 5-7 minutes.
  12. Carefully remove the banana bread and cool completely before serving.
