Ingredients

  • 250 grams sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 300 g almond (s) or hazelnuts, round
  • 200 g chocolate, dark, rated
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch clove powder
  • 3 tablespoon kirsch, more if desired
  • Sugar for the work surface

Instructions

  1. Mix the sugar and egg white together well. Stir in the grated nuts, chocolate, cocoa, as well as cinnamon, clove powder and kirsch. If the dough is very moist, add more nuts. Chill the dough for half an hour.
  2. Sprinkle the work surface with sugar and roll out the dough 1 cm thick. Cut out biscuits and place on baking paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for 7-10 minutes. Warning: it`s better to check the biscuits early, otherwise they will dry out very quickly.
