Ingredients

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 200 g sheep cheese
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 roll, stale
  • 1 bunch parsley, smooth
  • some oregano, fresher
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped cumin, ground
  • 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. First cut the onion into small cubes and sauté. Finely chop the parsley. Soak the roll in water, squeeze it and tear it into small pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients, except for the sheep`s cheese, in a bowl, add the cooled onions. Spread out a piece of aluminum foil about DIN A4 in size on a work surface, then roll out a quarter (depending on your appetite, possibly 1/6) of the minced meat. To do this, wet your hands with water - then the hack won`t stick to it.
  3. Shape approximately 10 x 10 cm squares, now place a quarter or 1/6 of the sheep`s cheese (grated) in the middle and now fold up the steak with the help of aluminum foil. Finally, press the edges together and possibly shape the steak.
  4. Take the Biftecki out of the foil and fry in a little olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side, preferably in a grill pan.
  5. I like to serve coleslaw, djuvec rice and tzatziki with it.
  6. The aluminum foil is ideal for storage or for freezing.
