Mix all ingredients together up to and including salt. Let it soak for 30 minutes. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Bake small pancakes one after the other in the pan, tablespoon at a time.
Can be eaten with sweet or salty additions, e.g. with a spicy topping as a starter or finger food, an accompaniment to hearty main dishes or dusted with fruity sauce and powdered sugar as a dessert.
Sufficient as a starter, side dish, dessert or snack for 4 to 10 people depending on hunger and use.
