Braised Mushrooms

I love mushrooms, another lean recipe is stewed mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Champignons – 500 g
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Bulb onions -1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Mushroom broth – 0.5 cups
  • Greens to taste

Directions

  1. Wash, peel, and chop mushrooms and onions.
  2. Boil mushrooms in salted water for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil.
  4. Put mushrooms and shredded onions into the pan. Fry the mushrooms, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
  5. Add mushroom broth to the pan, simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. At the end of the stewing, add salt and herbs to taste. Serve stewed mushrooms with boiled potatoes or raw vegetable salad.
