Brussels Sprouts Baked in Balsamic Vinegar

You just need a few ingredients to make Brussels sprouts according to one of Aina Garten’s favorite recipes. Among them is salty pancetta for a more expressive taste and a little balsamic vinegar for piquancy.

Ingredients

  • 700 gr. peeled and cut in half along the stalk of Brussels sprouts
  • 110 g 0.5 cm diced pancetta
  • 1/4 Art. olive oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp syrupy balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 205 ° C. Places the heads of Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, as well as individual leaves, which become crispy during baking. Add pancetta, olive oil, 1.5 teaspoon. salt and 1/2 teaspoon. pepper. Stir with your hands and spread in one layer.
  2. Roast Brussels sprouts for 20-30 minutes. until soft, until it is well browned and the pancetta is browned. Stir while baking.
  3. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, immediately pour the balsamic vinegar over the cabbage and stir again. Try to see if there is enough seasoning and serve hot.
