Ingredients

For the sauce: (burger sauce)

  • 250 ml yogurt, 10%
  • 125 ml mayonnaise
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 dash herb vinegar
  • 3 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 pinch (s) pepper

For the salad: (burger salad)

  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 1 kg minced meat
  • some pickled cucumber (s) at will
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 0.5 ½ onion (s)
  • 200 g cheese, e.. Gouda
  • 9 hamburger buns (sesame buns)

Instructions

  1. For the burger sauce, finely chop the onion and garlic and mix with the remaining ingredients.
  2. For the salad, finely chop the onion and sauté in a pan until translucent. Then add the minced meat and sear it. Season with salt, pepper and paprika and season to taste. The minced meat can be a little more seasoned, as the salad takes away a lot of the seasoning.
  3. Cut the sesame buns horizontally once and put 6 bun lids aside. Cut the remaining rolls into small bread cubes. Wash the iceberg lettuce in cold water and tear it into bite-sized pieces. Cut the pickles into small slices and grate the cheese.
  4. I use a very large glass bowl for the burger salad (see video). Half of the bread cubes are distributed on the floor. Half of the salad is distributed on top of this and half of the burger sauce is placed directly on top. Fill half of the pickled cucumbers and half of the minced meat on top. In the same order you repeat the layering with the other half of the respective ingredients. Finally, spread the grated cheese on the surface and cover with the bun lids.
