  • 2 cups buttermilk, 500 ml each
  • 1 piece (s) bacon, smoked
  • 750 g potato (s)
  • 1 meat sausage or poultry sausage
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt and pepper
  • water

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into not too small pieces and bring to the boil in a little salted water. Cut the bacon into cubes and fry properly. Cut the onion into small pieces and add. Continue frying until the onions are nice and brown.
  2. When the potatoes are very soft, pour off enough water so that the potatoes are no longer covered. Mix the flour with a little cold water to make a roux and add directly to the potatoes or the water.
  3. Then pour in the buttermilk and bring to the boil, add the bacon and onions, also add the meat sausage cut into pieces and bring everything to the boil again, seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
  4. Tip: Add the buttermilk little by little, then you can see how much liquid it will be.
