Instructions

  1. Bring the cream, milk, bourbon vanilla and calvados to a boil.
  2. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a second saucepan. Pour the hot milk over the egg yolks. Stir with a whisk over medium heat (do not let it boil!) Until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
  3. Pour through a fine sieve into a container and serve.
