Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 handful basil leaves
  • 6 tomato (s), dried and pickled
  • 6 tablespoon oil from the pickled tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon chili sauce (Sriracha)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, ground
  • 1 teaspoon onion (s), ground

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashew nuts overnight. Process the drained cashew nuts with the remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor to form a smooth paste.
  2. Tip: If you like the tomato pieces and basil a little coarser, first mix the cashew nuts, the oil and the chilli sauce into a paste and then add the chopped tomatoes and the chopped basil.
