Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples, sour, peeled
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 50 g biscuit (s) (Amarettini), crushed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 handful pine nuts or sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 ½ glass water

Instructions

  1. Cut the peeled apples into large slices and place in a baking dish. Add 1/2 glass of water and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  2. Cook in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for approx. 40 minutes until soft.
  3. Bring the milk to the boil with the cinnamon stick and stir in 3 tablespoons of sugar.
  4. Combine olive oil, butter and flour in a saucepan and melt over low heat. Add the milk, stirring constantly, until a light cream is formed. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in an egg yolk. Spread this cream over the cooked apples. Now sprinkle the crushed amarettini and pine nuts on top.
  5. Bake in the still hot oven at 160 ° C for another 30 minutes. Then let cool and serve lukewarm.
