- 1 large cauliflower
- 500 g potato (s)
- 1 onion (s)
- 25 g butter
- 25 g flour
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 250 ml milk
- 200 g cheese, rated

- Cut the cauliflower into florets and peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Cook both together in salted water for 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, fry the chopped onion in the butter, dust with flour and sweat for 1 minute. Stir in the vegetable stock and milk and let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Stir the cheese into the sauce and season the sauce well with salt and pepper.
- Put the cauliflower and potatoes in a baking dish, pour the sauce over it and bake the casserole at 175 ° C for 20 minutes. Check whether the potatoes are done, otherwise bake a little more.
