Champignons Fried with Bacon and Garlic

Aromatic fried mushrooms with bacon are a great snack. You can also complement this dish with your favorite side dish and get a delicious and hearty lunch or dinner. Champignons are fried with onions, garlic, and bacon, seasoned with black pepper, paprika, and fresh parsley. Mushrooms, bacon, and garlic are a wonderful combination. And the preparation of such a gorgeous dish will take very little time.

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Champignons – 300 g
  • Bacon (beef or pork) – 170-190 g
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Onions – 100 g
  • Fresh parsley – 10 g
  • Butter – 20 g
  • Vegetable oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)
  • Ground sweet paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into cubes, chop the garlic with a knife.
  2. We wash the champignons, dry them with a paper towel, and cut them into 2-4 pieces or leave them whole if the mushrooms are small.
  3. Cut the bacon into random strips.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic for about 3-5 minutes, until soft.
  5. Then add the bacon.
  6. Fry bacon, onion, and garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Then add mushrooms and butter.
  8. Mix everything, cover the pan with a lid and cook over the fire a little more than medium for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Chop the parsley. Then add salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add chopped parsley.
  10. Mix and fry without a lid for another 5-7 minutes, until the liquid has completely evaporated, and the mushrooms and bacon are slightly brown.
