Charlotte from Apples and Loaf

For apple lovers. We make apple and loaf charlotte. The food is ordinary and almost always at home. A stale loaf is also fine. And the result will delight you with its taste.

Ingredients

  • White loaf (400-500 g) – 1 pc.
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Milk – 1 glass
  • Medium apple – 10 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Cinnamon – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat.
  2. Drive eggs into a bowl. Add milk to the eggs.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk well.
  4. Wash the apples, peel, and core. Cut into small pieces.
  5. Grease the bottom and side of the pan (mold) with fat (vegetable oil).
  6. Cut the loaf into thin croutons (0.7-1 cm thick).
  7. Then dip the croutons in eggs, beaten with milk. The pieces of the loaf must be thoroughly saturated with the milk-egg mixture.
  8. Line the bottom and sides of a greased pan (mold) with croutons.
  9. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (half of all sugar and half of all cinnamon).
  10. Fill the middle with peeled and chopped apples.
  11. Sprinkle them with sugar (half of the remaining portion) and cinnamon (all that remains).
  12. Cut the butter into pieces.
  13. Then put pieces of butter on the apples.
  14. Cover with croutons.
  15. Place the dish on the middle shelf and bake in a hot oven (200 °) for 30-40 minutes.
    Then cool the charlotte.
  16. Put the cold apple and loaf charlotte on a plate and sprinkle with sugar.
