Cheese Pies Made from Yeast-Free Yogurt Dough

Very quick, soft pies with cheese filling. The dough is yeast-free, kneaded with the addition of yogurt. Delicious and aromatic homemade cakes!

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Yogurt (no additives) – 100 ml
  • Butter (warm) – 100 g
  • Vegetable oil – 60 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Egg white – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 400-420 g
  • Baking powder – 12 g
  • Vinegar 9% – 15 ml
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon

For filling:

  • Soft cheese – 250 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Yolk – for greasing pies
  • Sesame seeds – 2 teaspoon

Directions

  1. We prepare products.
    The butter should be soft – we take it out of the refrigerator in advance.
    Flour will need a little more than 3 glasses with a capacity of 200 ml
  2. Combine soft butter, vegetable oil, vinegar, yogurt, salt and sugar in a deep bowl. We mix.
  3. We break two eggs. Set aside one yolk for greasing the pies.
  4. Add the egg and one protein to the butter-yoghurt mixture. We mix.
  5. Sift flour with baking powder and add portions here.
  6. We knead a very soft, tender dough.
  7. You can take any cheese for the filling that will not melt – I have Adyghe cheese, feta cheese or feta is also suitable. Knead the cheese with a fork, add the egg.
  8. Mix the filling.
  9. We turn on and preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
    Divide the dough into 12 equal parts.
  10. Flatten each piece into a cake, on the center of which we spread a teaspoon of the filling.
    We fasten the edges of the dough, forming an oblong pie.
  11. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper.
    We transfer the pies to a baking sheet.
    Lubricate the pies with yolk.
  12. We prick the pies with a fork in the center along.
    Sprinkle sesame seeds on the pies.
    Pies with cheese, from yeast-free dough on yogurt, bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
