Cheesecakes with Feta Cheese and Herbs

A simple and quick recipe for savory cheese cakes with feta cheese and herbs – tender, very soft on the inside and with a golden brown crust on the outside. Such cheesecakes will be appreciated by those who prefer something salty for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 100 g
  • Cheese – 100 g
  • Wheat flour – 75 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Fresh dill – 1-2 branches
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 20 ml

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese and softened butter and grind well with a fork. Grate cheese and add to a bowl of cottage cheese. If the feta cheese is not salty enough, you can add salt (to taste). Drive in an egg. Finely chop the dill with a knife and send it to a bowl too. Add paprika. Mix well. Add flour. Stir well again until smooth.
  2. Preheat a skillet with vegetable oil. Form small cheesecakes and put them in hot butter. Fry the syrniki over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Unsweetened cottage cheese pancakes with feta cheese and herbs are ready. You can serve cheesecakes to the table both hot and cold.
