Ingredients
- 2 glasses sour cherries
- 200 g jam (cherry)
- 300 g chocolate (dark chocolate, at least 70% cocoa content)
- 250 g butter
- 350 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 450 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 7 medium egg (s)
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- Grease for the tin
- Flour for the baking sheet

- Grease a drip pan (about 32 cm x 39 cm and about 3.5 cm deep) and dust with flour.
- Drain the sour cherries. Stir the jam until smooth and mix with the cherries.
- Break the dark chocolate into pieces and dice the butter. Melt both together in a hot water bath and let cool down a little.
- Mix the flour and baking powder.
- Pour the chocolate butter into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, the flour mixture and eggs. Mix everything with the whisk of a hand mixer. Place the dough on the drip pan and spread evenly. Now distribute the sour cherries on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C, fan: 150 ° C, gas: level 2) for about 35 minutes. Let cool and cut into approx. 30 pieces.
- Ice cream tastes good with it.
