Ingredients
- 1 glass cherry (s) (720 ml), drained
- 250 g butter
- 350 grams sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 7 medium egg (s)
- 500g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 500 g sour cream
- 75 g almond (s) (almond flakes)

- Mix the butter, 250 g sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer for about 5 minutes until creamy. Stir in 4 eggs one after the other. Mix the flour and baking powder. Stir alternately with milk into the egg mixture.
- Grease the drip pan of an oven well. Put the dough on top and smooth it out. Spread the cherries evenly on the dough. Then mix well 3 eggs, 100 g sugar and sour cream. Pour over the cherries and then sprinkle with the flaked almonds.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C, gas: level 3) for about 35 minutes. Take out and let cool down.
- Tip: If you like it more sour, you can also use solid sour cream instead of sour cream.
