Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 80 grams flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 150 g oat flakes, (melted flakes)
  • 80 g suar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 4 tablespoon kirsch

For the glaze:

  • 3 tablespoon jam, (cherry jam)
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 teaspoon kirsch
  • Cherry (s), (cherries, red)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a shortcrust pastry from the ingredients for the dough.
  2. Form four rolls, each 2 cm in diameter, and put them in the fridge for several hours.
  3. Cut into slices approx. 1 cm thick.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes.
  5. Heat the cherry jam and strain it through a sieve. Mix with icing sugar and kirsch. Smear thalers with it.
  6. Cut the cherries into wedges and decorate the thalers with them.
