Chicken Chop and Ham Sandwiches

Homemade chicken and ham sandwiches are much more delicious than those made in bistros.

Ingredients

  • Prosciutto ham (sliced) – 8 slices
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Small chicken chops – 4 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Long burger buns – 4 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 1/4 cup
  • Olive paste Tapenada – 1/4 cup
  • Medium tomato (cut into slices) – 1 pc.
  • Arugula – 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Put a slice of prosciutto on a baking sheet and place the baking sheet in a preheated oven, cook until the ham is crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Sprinkle chicken chops with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place chicken chops in preheated skillet and fry until brown, 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Cut the buns into halves, brush the slices with mayonnaise and form sandwiches with slices of ham, chicken chops, olive paste, tomatoes and arugula.
