Chicken Chops “Under The Fur Coat”

Chicken chops in onion batter with aromatic vegetables and cheese. A successful batter that doesn’t lag behind! First, fry the chops in batter in a frying pan (you can stop at this), and then bake them in the oven “under a fur coat” of vegetables and cheese. Which option should you choose? Decide for yourself – it will still be delicious!

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast – 700 g
  • Sweet pepper – 2 pcs.
  • Large tomato – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Cheese – 200 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp + 1 dec. l.
  • Flour – 4 tbsp (with a slide)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Seasonings (optional) – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and beat off not very thinly. Pepper and salt the chops on both sides, leave for a while.
  2. For batter, grind the onion on a blender (grater) (you can replace it with garlic), add sour cream and mayonnaise (3 tablespoons), eggs. Stir, salt and pepper. Pour in flour, mix. The batter is ready.
  3. Dip the chicken fillet pieces in the batter and fry the chops in batter on both sides until golden brown, in a little vegetable oil, over medium heat.
  4. Cut the pepper and tomato into small cubes.
  5. Grate the cheese. Add salt, pepper, mayonnaise (1 dec. L.) And some grated cheese to the vegetables.
  6. On top of the chops, fried in batter, lay out a “fur coat” of vegetables and sprinkle generously with cheese (I bake the chops in the same pan in which they were fried).
  7. Place the chicken chops with vegetables and cheese in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 20 minutes, in order to melt the cheese. Done.
  8. Chicken chops “under a fur coat” are tasty, juicy and festive. Bon appetit!
