Chicken Chowder

American soup is full of a variety of flavors. There are many cooking recipes. Chowder is prepared with seafood, different types of meat, smoked meats or poultry. Today we will make a chicken chowder.

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 300-400 Grams
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Carrots – 1 Piece
  • Potatoes – 2 Pieces
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 Piece
  • Celery stalk – 1 Piece
  • Corn – 100 Grams
  • Garlic – 1-2 Cloves
  • Hot pepper – 1 Piece
  • Whole grain flour – 1-2 Art. spoons
  • Salt – 1-2 pinches
  • Bay leaf – 1 piece
  • Cream – 150 Milliliters
  • Butter – 40 grams
  • Water – 2 Liters

Directions

  1. Let’s prepare the ingredients.
  2. Cooking chicken broth. Put the chicken in cold water. Bring to a boil, remove the foam that appears. Cook until tender. For taste, add salt, bay leaf and carrots to the broth.
  3. Fry onions and carrots in butter.
  4. After 7-10 minutes add the corn.
  5. Add hot and bell peppers to the saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add celery and garlic a couple of minutes before cooking.
  7. Pour in whole grain flour, mix everything, add broth and bring to a boil.
  8. The chicken and broth are ready. Add potatoes and cook for 25 minutes. Next, add the vegetables from the saucepan to the pan. We cook for 2-3 minutes all together. Cream can be added to the soup pot or to each serving plate.
  9. The chicken chowder is ready. Serve hot.
