Chicken Fillet in Soy-Tomato Marinade, Fried with Cauliflower

Delicious poultry and vegetable dish. Chicken fillet pieces marinated in soy sauce with spices, ketchup and garlic, fried with onions and carrots. Then everything is fried with boiled cauliflower. You will definitely like the result! Juicy, firm and aromatic cabbage inflorescences, sweet carrots and soft, mouth-watering chicken fillet are the perfect combination.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 200 g (1 pc.)
  • Cauliflower – 300 g
  • Onions – 70 g (0.5 pcs.)
  • Carrots – 80 g (1 pc.)
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Ground coriander – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground red hot pepper – 0.1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Green onions (for serving) – 1-2 feathers

Directions

  1. Combine soy sauce, ketchup, hot red pepper, coriander and peeled and finely grated garlic in a bowl.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, about 2×4 cm.
  3. Place the chicken in the prepared mixture, stir and leave for 15-30 minutes to marinate.
  4. In parallel, disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences, removing the stump.
  5. Boil 0.5 liters of water, add salt, and send the cabbage to the pan. Boil it after boiling for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Place the cabbage on a sieve and let the water drain completely.
  7. Cut the peeled onions into thin quarters or half rings, peeled carrots into small cubes.
  8. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken on all sides for about 7-8 minutes.
  9. The chicken fillet will turn slightly white and brown. Add prepared onions and carrots to the skillet. Fry everything together for another 5-6 minutes, until the vegetables are soft.
  10. Add boiled cabbage inflorescences to chicken and vegetables, stir. Keep the contents of the pan covered over low heat for another 4-5 minutes.
  11. Chicken fillet in soy-tomato marinade, fried with cauliflower, ready.
  12. When serving, you can sprinkle the dish with chopped green onions or parsley.
