Chicken Meatballs in the Oven, in a Creamy Cheese Sauce

Every housewife can cook meatballs from minced chicken and rice, but I would advise you today to bake meatballs in the oven in a creamy cheese sauce. The dish will turn out to be juicy and aromatic. Chicken meatballs in a creamy sauce will be a great family dinner.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Minced chicken – 350 g
  • Rice- 70 g
  • Cream- 180-200 g
  • Hardcheese – 50 g
  • Bulbonions – 1 pc.
  • Fresh parsley (or other herbs) – 3-4 sprigs
  • Saltto taste
  • Groundblack pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Rinse the rice, add water (at least 250 ml) and boil until almost soft, so that it crunches slightly inside (15 minutes). When cooking, add some salt to the rice. Rinse the cooked rice with water and cool.
  2. Cut the onions into small cubes and mix the minced chicken, onion and rice in a bowl. Add salt and black pepper to taste, stir.
  3. Finely chop the greens and add to the minced meat, mix. I used parsley, but you can also use dill or green onions.
  4. Roll up round minced chicken meatballs with rice with moistened hands. Place the meatballs in a baking dish. Put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, and bake the meatballs in the oven for 10 minutes.
  5. For the pouring sauce, combine grated cheese and cream. Stir and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove the meatballs from the oven and pour over the sauce. Put the meatballs in the creamy sauce back into the oven. Bake meatballs in the oven in a creamy cheese sauce for another 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. The cheese will melt and form a delicious crust.
  7. Serve prepared baked minced chicken meatballs with rice to the table hot, sprinkle with fresh herbs. Chicken meatballs in a creamy sauce are delicious even the next day.
