Chicken Pikata Fast

Today I suggest you cook incredibly delicious chicken breasts in a flavored sauce of capers, butter, lemon juice and white wine. The combination is very successful and harmonious. Try it

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast – 250 Grams
  • Flour – 3 Art. spoons
  • Salt, pepper – To taste
  • Olive oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Canned capers – 1
  • White wine – 1/2 Art. spoons
  • Lemon – 1 Piece
  • Water – 1/4 Glass
  • Butter – 50 Grams
  • Parsley – 1/2 Bunch

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need. I advise you to use chicken breasts chilled, not frozen, as they are tastier.
  2. Cut each breast in half lengthwise. Spread the pieces on a work surface, cover with cling film and gently beat with a hammer.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken breast chops with salt and pepper to taste, I advise you to use not the classic black pepper, but paprika, cayenne pepper, etc.
  4. Dip the breasts on both sides in flour and fry in olive oil until lightly blush.
  5. Prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a skillet, send the capers, previously dried with paper towels, to it and cook for a few minutes. Then pour in the wine, add lemon juice and finely chopped parsley. When the sauce boils, add the water.
  6. Let the sauce simmer again and add the pre-fried chicken breasts to it. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. During this time, the liquid from the sauce will saturate the chicken, making it incredibly tender, and it will become a little thicker.
  7. Chicken pikata is ready in no time. Serve with any side dish and always with sauce.
