Chicken with Rice in Spanish

Chicken with rice in Spanish is truly a folk dish: simple, tasty, and very satisfying. From the simplest and most inexpensive products, you will prepare a dish for every day and for a festive table.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Thighs – 500 Grams
  • Long-grain rice – 1 Cup
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 Piece
  • Chicken broth – 400-450 Milliliters
  • Vegetable oil – 50 Milliliters
  • Tomato – 2 Pieces
  • Olives – 7-8 Pieces
  • Ground red pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – To taste
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Parsley – 15 Grams

Directions

  1. Prepare the ingredients for cooking chicken and rice in Spanish.
  2. Wash and skin the chicken thighs.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a hot skillet or saucepan with vegetable oil.
  4. Fry the thighs until lightly golden brown on all sides.
  5. Place the chicken on a plate. Peel and wash onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Then cut randomly and place in the pan in which you fried the chicken. Fry these vegetables, stirring for 7-8 minutes.
  6. Wash the rice and add to the vegetables in the pan. Fry rice with vegetables, stirring for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Then put the chicken thighs in the pan.
  8. Peel the tomatoes, chop in any way and add to vegetables, rice, and chicken.
  9. Pour in the chicken broth. Add paprika, salt to taste.
  10. Place the lid on the skillet and simmer the Spanish chicken until tender.
  11. Serve Chicken in Spanish for lunch, dinner, or on a festive table.
