Ingredients

  • 80 g chickpeas, dried
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 carrot (s)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch spring onion (s)
  • 0.25 ¼ bell pepper (s), yellow
  • Breadcrumbs
  • oatmeal
  • parsley
  • oil
  • Curry powder
  • soy sauce
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Soak the chickpeas in cold water overnight.
  2. Cook the chickpeas in the soaking water for about 1 hour. Pour off the cooking water and roughly mash the chickpeas with a fork.
  3. Finely dice the carrots and peppers and add to the chickpeas. Chop the parsley and add it.
  4. Cut the spring onions into fine rings and add to the chickpeas as well.
  5. Season to taste with curry powder, soy sauce, paprika powder and cayenne pepper.
  6. Add the egg yolks to the chickpea mixture and combine with the breadcrumbs and oat flakes to form a firm mixture.
  7. Then shape the mixture into patties and bake in oil until golden brown on each side.
