Chinese Cabbage and Broccoli with Ginger and Soy Sauce

And here is a side dish for fried salmon. And not only to him. Vegetables – food is very useful and necessary for everyone. Let’s make cabbage not only healthy but also delicious.

Ingredients

  • Chinese cabbage (bok-choy) – 500 g
  • Broccoli – 500 g
  • Rapeseed oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic, finely chopped – 1 clove
  • Fresh ginger, grated – 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1-2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Cut the white part of the cabbage into 1-inch pieces and coarsely chop the green part. Cut broccoli stalks into 0.5-0.7 cm pieces, cut large inflorescences into pieces.
  2. Boil ½ cup water in a large skillet. Add chopped white kale and broccoli. Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes (to keep the broccoli bright green).
  3. Remove the lid and cook for another 2-4 minutes over high heat until the water evaporates. Add green cabbage leaves, oil, and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
  4. Squeeze the juice out of the ginger over the skillet (through a strainer). Add soy sauce. Stir.
