Chocolate Brownie with Cottage Cheese and Cherry

Chocolate brownie with cottage cheese and cherries is a classic cake recipe that came to us from distant England. Nevertheless, in our country, he is very popular with many housewives.

Ingredients

  • Bitter chocolate – 100 grams
  • Butter – 120 Grams
  • Sugar – 150 Grams
  • Eggs – 4 Pieces
  • Wheat flour – 150 grams
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cottage cheese – 300 grams (soft)
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 Tbsp the spoon
  • Cherries – 300 Grams (frozen)
  • Salt – To taste

Directions

  1. Take dark chocolate, break it into small pieces. Put it in a bowl and add butter. Melt both ingredients in a water bath, stir well.
  2. In a high-rimmed glass bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt using a high speed mixer until frothy.
  3. Now it’s time for the cream. To prepare it in a separate bowl, beat the curd cheese, sugar and the remaining 2 eggs with a blender or mixer until a homogeneous plastic mass is obtained.
  4. Add warm chocolate melted with butter in a thin stream to the bowl with beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Then sift the flour and baking powder into it and knead the dough. It should resemble sour cream in its consistency.
  5. Line any baking dish you like with parchment, brush with butter or vegetable oil, and lay out layers of chocolate dough, curd cream and cherries.
  6. Bake the cake at 200 degrees in the oven for forty minutes. After it is completely baked, let the pastry cool down and serve with tea or coffee.
