Ingredients

  • 125 g flour
  • 6 tablespoon sugar, brown
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 250 ml milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur or rum
  • 60 g sweets (chocolate chips), alternatively chocolate flakes
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling
  • possibly cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Sieve the flour into a bowl, add sugar and salt, make a well in the middle, add the egg and egg yolk and stir with the flour. Stir in the milk.
  2. Melt half of the butter and stir into the batter.
  3. Add orange liqueur or rum.
  4. Let the dough rest for 1 hour.
  5. Melt some butter in a non-stick pan.
  6. Pour in some batter and bake until golden brown on each side.
  7. Sprinkle the chocolate chips / chocolate flakes on the pancakes.
  8. When the chocolate begins to melt, fold the pancakes into a quarter circle.
  9. Lift out and keep warm.
  10. Bake 8 pancakes, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
  11. To make the whole thing even more chocolatey, you can add 2 - 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the flour.
  12. Also very tasty with cream.
  13. For children, leave out the liqueur / rum.
